Personalised Pet Gifts: Ideas for Dog and Cat Lovers
Pets are family, so it makes sense that some of the best personalised gifts are about them. Whether you're buying for a proud dog mum, a cat dad who shows everyone photos, or someone welcoming a new puppy or kitten this Christmas, a gift with their pet's name or face on it always lands. Here are our favourite personalised pet gifts - things for pet lovers to wear and keep, plus a couple of Christmas treats for the pets themselves.
Pet portrait t-shirts
Both of our pet portrait tees are made from your photo of one dog or cat, with the background removed. The Pet Portrait T-Shirt - Photo and Name puts a small portrait (about 9cm wide on adult sizes) on the left chest and the pet's name across the upper back. It's subtle enough to wear every day.
The Engraved Style Pet Portrait T-Shirt is the bolder one: a large front print with a cream portrait under curved bronze lettering, with the ears overlapping the name. Both are £21.99 in adult sizes, in black, navy, military green or oversized black, and come in kids' sizes too. Our guide to choosing the best photo will help you pick the right shot.
Embroidered dog and cat ears hoodies
The Dog Ears with Pet Name Hoodie has an embroidered outline of your dog's ears, created from your photo, with their name stitched underneath. The Cat Ears with Pet Name Hoodie has a minimal cat ears outline with your cat's name embroidered. Both are £33.99 and come in 11 colours, from Deep Black and Oxford Navy to Sage and Blush Pink.
It's a minimal design, so it works for someone who wouldn't wear a big printed photo. See the pet hoodie collection.
Picture outline hoodies and sweatshirts
For a full outline of a favourite photo - your pet on their own or the two of you together - the Embroidered Picture Outline Hoodie and Embroidered Picture Outline Sweatshirt turn your chosen image into an embroidered outline portrait. Both are £36.98. Our guide explains what a photo outline hoodie is, with examples.
Photo tip: for the portraits and outlines, use a clear, well-lit photo where your pet's face and ears are easy to see. Front-on shots usually work best.
A pet's first Christmas
Got a new puppy or kitten this year? The Pet First Christmas Heart Plaque (£13.95) is a freestanding clear acrylic heart with "My First Christmas", a paw-print stocking and Christmas tree, personalised with their name and the year.
And so they don't miss out on Christmas morning, the Santa Paws Christmas Sack has a golden paw print in a Santa hat and their name. It's 100% cotton with a drawstring, from £9.50, and is supplied empty for you to fill with toys and treats. Doing a box for the rest of the family too? See our Christmas Eve box ideas.
Gifts for cat lovers
Not everything has to be personalised. The Four Cat T-Shirt has a playful counting design, and the Yin Yang Kitten T-Shirt is a cute pick for anyone who loves cats. Both are £17.50.
